Activities
We spend time together in various ways, and this includes a couple of planned gatherings each week where we all meet together. Please contact us for more info about how to join in with any of our activities.
We meet on Tuesday evenings for dinner in one of the households in the church, followed by an informal meeting, which usually involves singing together and teaching from the Bible. We also pray, asking God to show us what He wants to say to us — about each other, our jobs, lives and families.
On Sundays, various people in the church do different activities throughout the day. Usually, some people gather to read a book together and discuss it, others play sport in the local park after lunch, one group go to the local pub to chat, and others watch a film and reflect on themes or ideas within it. In addition to these groups, we all gather for some meditative worship followed by a good Sunday lunch!
Outside of these regular meetings we laugh together, cry together, watch movies together, learn languages together, explore ideas together, exercise together, party together, pray together, play games together, travel together, host guests together, theologise together, play music together, cook for each other, challenge each other, do gardening for each other, and so on, in hundreds of varied ways.
