Trying to bring the peace and hope of Jesus to such a fast paced city is not easy.  In London, people seem to be always busy or in a rush.  We want to be a haven – somewhere everyone knows they are loved and supported, where they are given time, where they can find peace in the midst of life.

As most of us work for a large proportion of the week, we want to support each other while seeking to engage with the life of the city in our work.  Sometimes people love what they do and see their careers as participating in God’s redemptive purposes. Sometimes people just find work frustrating. However we feel, it is our job to encourage each other to demonstrate Jesus’ love as we work alongside our colleagues.

Community Church Harlesden’s members are involved in many areas of life in London – business, media, academia, the charitable sector, education, politics, law, healthcare.
